colored pencil on tinted paper
Wednesday, Sept 7th, 2011 11:18 am
we know her as the little pregnant girl with the hair wrap. now that power
has shifted in Trinadot she may decide to forgo hair covering. in this sketch
her skin tone is much lighter and peachier than typically which would be more
olive mocha, this was due to the availability of pencils at the time. drawn for
commemorative SPX card.

getting ready for the Baltimore Comic Con by taking the ad out of the city paper and taping my face where stan
lee's used to be. Trinadot #3 is gonna be out soon! and get ready for hotness with this Quickie zine in print. the
people and scenarios borrowed from the Trinadot storyline. i lino cut and made some business cards today which
have my insignia on the back. i left the little yellow box containing them in fragrance swatches torn from a teen
vogue. if you're at comic con come get one and it'll smell goooood.

Trinadot Issue 3 cover
July 27th, 2011 Wednesday, 2:40 pm
with the heat and the furious effort to complete Issue 3 in time for Comixpress to print for SPX
and the sun's proximity to earth you could say that i have earned the description "feverishly toiling"
while others are undoubtedly tubing. those lucky fools and their incessant, enviable tubing on the
Gunpowder. to dampen the rage I've been listening to old gospel and rejoicing that at 48 pages Trinadot
#3 is the longest in the series so far. #4 and #5 will be written together to bring the first graphic
novel to a close.
the enduring music that sustained me during the last stretch in squalor and heat:
Washington Philips - train your child from i am born to preach the gospel, Silver Leaf Quartette of
Norfolk from oh! glory glory, Peerless Four - noah from southern journey vol 8: velvet voices, Johnny
Cash - were you there (when they crucified my lord from the legend, Clara Ward - how i got over from
the history of black gospel volume 2, Sister O.M. Terrell - swing low, chariot from bottles, knives, steel,
Fisk Jubilee Singers - ezekiel saw de wheel from folk, gospel & blues: will the circle be unbroken, Rev
Gary Davis - twelve gates to the city from if i had my way, The Soul Stirrers - jesus gave me water,
Heavenly Gospel Singers - you go and i'll go with you from heavenly gospel singers vol 2 (1936-1937), and
The Sensational Nightingales - at the meeting from it's gonna rain again.

Eventually Everyone Wants To Go Home
Baltimore Time Travel Anthology Entry, Page 68 & 69
Colored Pencil on Tinted Paper
July 1st, 2011 Friday, 8:32 pm
As suspected this year is proving to be sort of amazingly awesome. I have an interesting cocktail of green tea in a jar and vodka and limeade
in a mug. The sky has become pale in the evening and I might've just posted somewhat irresponsibly on a random blog. But ramifications
have yet to unfold. I am working to my Trinadot deadline while listening to Harry Potter yet again. It's as much of an addiction as anything
else. Those that can center themselves without the use of chemicals or young adult fiction are truly intriguing individuals. I have actions
to program - excuse me.
